The Clarksville Community Board of School Trustees unanimously approved the 2018-19 school calendar at the Regular Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 12. CCSC will be transitioning to a “modified” balanced calendar with one week breaks during the fall and spring in exchange for a two week longer summer break.
This calendar will allow for more instructional time for students prior to state testing, more days in the summer to prepare for the upcoming school year (staffing & facilities) and a longer summer for families.
Area superintendents collaborated to align, as closely as possible, the calendars of public school districts within Clark County.
