Matt Pait | Assistant Principal

Welcome to Clarksville High School! I am excited to begin my fifth year as Assistant Principal at CHS.

We are looking forward to the 23-24 school year and all of the opportunities ahead. Because of our
small school family we are able to support our students throughout their high school journey in all that
they do. I am extremely proud of Clarksville Community Schools and the work we do to help our
students be successful.

This year we continue to have high expectations hope that it will be a successful year for everyone. As
Assistant Principal, I want to support the students in making successful choices that will benefit them
throughout life. I believe that it is our job to help our students learn how to make good decisions to be
successful so that they can achieve their dreams when they graduate.

This is my 15 th year working in Education. Before coming to Clarksville I spent ten years as a business
teacher, basketball coach, Freshman Academy Team Leader, and Business Academy Leader at
Jeffersonville High School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine
University, a Master’s Degree in Education from Lincoln Memorial University, and Doctorate of
Education from Oakland City University. I am married to my wife, Shallon, and have three children, Liza
(7 years old), Rozy (4 years old), and Suzy (6 months old).

I look forward to working with everyone this year!
