Renaissance Academy learners participated in its first ever, school-wide, Service Learning Day on Friday, April 14.
Every learner at Renaissance Academy worked throughout the community on several projects including picking up trash in Gateway Park in Clarksville, building picnic tables, painting wagons for Norton Children’s Hospital, serving and preparing lunch at a local Soup Kitchen, and more.
Because Community Service is a vital part of a New Tech School, Learner Advocates decided to involve the whole school in a service learning day.
Congrats to all of our learners for an outstanding Service Learning Day! #ThinkClarksville
