Adrienne Goldman | Principal
Welcome to Clarksville High School, Home of the Generals! I am excited to be entering my eighth year as principal of Clarksville High School and my 24th year as an educator. I can say without a doubt that my favorite thing about Clarksville High School is our small community environment! This allows us to get to know all of our students personally and support them as they achieve their goals. While we are a small school community, we have made it a priority to offer BIG opportunities to our Generals through a variety of academic and extracurricular options. We strive to provide our Generals with many of the same opportunities they would find at other area schools AND offer the personal connection with peers and school staff to make it feel like they are home. Our high school team is committed to providing every student with a safe, caring, and positive environment that encourages each student to realize and desire to reach their full potential – academically and as a member of our community. We believe this is critical to students graduating on time and becoming prepared and confident members of our community.
As we enter the 2023-2024 school year, we will continue to grow together as we focus on collaborative learning through the school-wide implementation of the project-based learning model. Our teachers are planning learning opportunities that will engage our Generals in critical thinking, problem solving, community awareness, and collaboration. We will also continue to work on growing socially, emotionally, and behaviorally through the Generals Pride theme of G.R.I.T.! We believe that focusing on a Growth Mindset, Readiness, Integrity, and Trust will not only help us grow, but encourages an environment that supports all students.
I encourage you to talk to your child about their school experience and to call with any questions. Your input and feedback is valuable and helps us to get to know you and your child better and meet the needs of our CCSC families. We look forward to partnering with you during the school year to be able to provide support at school and home for your child. I truly believe a strong partnership between school and home encourages each child to achieve more and strive for success in their current and future goals.
Our CHS team appreciates you entrusting your child to us for their high school experience. We are thankful to be a part of every General’s path to success! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or your students’ teachers if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Adrienne Goldman
